I taught myself to play a Beethoven song, and since then my family has been pressuring me to take lessons. My boyfriend tells me I’d be good at it, but I’m afraid that if I take lessons, it’s going to to turn into something I resent doing. I don’t want that to happen. I’d like to learn, though. But I know if I take lessons and have my mom pay for them and decide I don’t like it, she’s going to be pretty upset with me. So what I’m wondering is, would it be worth it?
